The following articles are devoted to the communities in which we work, live, and support.
Every child desires the perfect job when they grow up. Most dream of being a doctor, nurse, dentist, or even the President. For some, their dream job is that of a firefighter. So when Mr. David Andreasen, Vice Principal at Meadow Lane Elementary School (Lemoore, CA.), asked if we could support Career Day...well who could pass it up. Mr. Robert Huffman & Mr. James Durr seized the opportunity to take the newest aircraft rescue firefighting (ARFF) truck to town! Meadow Lane Elementary students were given the grand tour of what an ARFF truck can do, and were shown some photos of what the federal firefighters have accomplished recently. These included confined space rescue, medical aid, vehicle accidents, haz-mat, and structural emergencies. Also invited to Career Day were Lemoore City and Kings County Fire Departments, whom put on quite a display of their own. These departments work in close unison to each other and with us to provide the best fire protection to our customers. NOTE: We apologize for the lack of photos of other department's vehicles.
