There is a Light at the end of the tunnel!17 Jan 07: We're on track. More to come!16 March 2006: We've heard from the Fire Chief that the trailers will be here sometime within the next two-three weeks. I expect that by the end of April 2006 the contractors will finally begin work on the station.21 April 2005: It looks like the renovation project is still on track. Nothing new you haven't already heard at work!31 Aug 04 : During a meeting with Chief Van Dyke that the design review is being "fast-tracked" to 100% review next. It seems the proposals weren't drastic enough to warrant major changes. This ultimately means this project will begin close to the projected schedule. Alternative housing has been found (two trailers sited where the hose ramp is now) and we'll retain use of the apparatus stalls 2-7. More information to come.As of 20 July 2004, the 35% design review was completed and submitted back through the chain. |
