"Chief-1" "300" 2004 Tahoe The Tahoe is equipped with a Fire Chief, Odyssey Command center (unused!), a SCBA (also unused, but a spare if needed), and the Chief's turnouts. We're all about wearing the proper personal protective equipment at this department!
"Chief-2" "301" "RED" 2003 Ford Utility Body This rig has seen a few uses over the past years. First and foremost, it serves as the conveyance for the Assistant Fire Chief (there is one per shift, and perform as shift supervisors and Incident Commander). The other function is aircraft forcible entry. The equipment on-board is excess (or overflow from Eng-1, which is stuffed to the gills as it is!) and predominantly responds to airfield operation emergencies.
"Chief-3" "303" No assigned vehicle This call sign is reserved for the Chief Inspector, otherwise known as the Assistant Chief of Fire Prevention. He supervises a staff of four Inspectors. This Fire Prevention office has trained more base squadron & hospital personnel, day care providers, and civilian employees than any other in the Navy Southwest Region. In addition, the staff and firefighters join forces to conduct countless more public education opportunities as well.
